Macaroni and Cheese Galore recipe

If you want to surprise your family with a wonderful dish that you know they will really enjoy, then you will want to make this macaroni and cheese galore recipe. This dish will be a great tasting macaroni and cheese dish that takes on a great taste all its own. Ingredients List:

8 ounces of macaroni
3 tbsp of butter, divided
2 tbsp of flour
2 cups of whole milk
1 cup of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of fresh shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
A dash nutmeg
1/2 cup of soft fine bread crumbs
A dash paprika

Directions:

The first things you want to do are to bring a pan of slightly salted water to a boil, and then add in the macaroni and cook it for about 8 to 10 minutes. Once the macaroni is fully cooked you will want to drain all of the water out of it. Rinse the macaroni off and set it to the side. Now you are going to butter a casserole dish and heat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat. Then you are going to add the flour and cook it stirring it until it becomes bubbly. Now you will gradually stir in the milk and continue cooking and stirring it until it becomes thickened. Add the Cheddar and half of the Parmesan cheese to the pot. Continue cooking and stirring it until the cheese has melted. Then you will add the salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Now stir in the drained macaroni. Place the macaroni and cheese mixture into the prepared casserole.

Put the bread crumbs into a small bowl with the remaining Parmesan cheese and paprika. Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and drizzle it over the bread crumb mixture. You will want to make sure that it is mixed well. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the macaroni. Place the dish into the oven and bake it for about 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly. Then you will Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake it for about 8 minutes longer, until topping is browned. The end result of this dish will be a meal that everyone will love.
